The next Home Depot Kids Workshop will be this Saturday, July 7th, 2012. It starts at 9 am and lasts until 12 pm, or until they’re out of free project kits.

For children 5 to 12 years old, these workshops are meant to teach tool safety while the kids have fun and make friends. It helps them gain a sense of achievement with each project they complete.

Kids will be building a Penske Moving Truck. To participate, you don’t have to register in advance, just show up as early as possible to claim your free kit. Stickers paint & brushes are usually provided along with an orange apron and an achievement pin to collect.
