This animation is so fun. I could totally imagine it as a wayang puppet show. Hay maybe someone should do that. That’d be cool.

This music is by Nick Bertke, better known as Pogo who is a remix artist. The animation is by Reed Gauthier, an awsome 2D animator.

For those of you who don’t know what wayang puppetry, it’s highly stylized shadow puppets. The Wizard of Oz was a book by American author L. Frank Balm which has been adapted into movies, radio and tv. The most famous was the  1939 musical, which this animation closely follows.
